Sanjay Lavakare transitioned from a 16-year career in IT to pursue painting full-time. His latest artwork is influenced by the distinct features of Koramangala, drawing inspiration from conversations with local residents. While previously part of Bengaluru's IT scene, Sanjay discovered his true passion for art and decided to dedicate himself to it entirely. Sanjay participated regularly in the Chithra Santhe art fair and now showcases a piece that captures the essence of Koramangala. Collaborating with his former neighbors, Ashish and Ritu, who still reside on L Street in Koramangala, Sanjay incorporated 50-60 elements unique to the neighborhood into his painting. Some elements are easily recognizable, while others require a bit of interpretation.
